This...
...is just like an episode of Weisenheimers.
It was very well done, but not very original.
I really liked the look of it, you put a ton of work into this and it shows. The overall presentation is outstanding.
My problems were with the writing and the concept. It was just Get Smart without the clever jokes and a ton more pop culture references. The characters are so bland and uninteresting it was difficult to watch at points. You could work on branching them out a bit so that they differ from the standard archetypes you put them in. After all, this is just a pilot and the characters haven't had a chance to develop. Some of the non-pop-culture jokes were good, but most were just boring.
You've definitely presented the show well, visually. And it is no good to see all this hard work go to waste on boring characters(which could easily be improved in following episodes) and unfunny jokes. Also I liked the music.
This definitely has a ton of characters
But it's surprising that you didn't include Kevin Bacon. It would have really improved your score, cause as we all know, Kevin Bacon is the one true key to success.
That was pretty good Mr. Kepple
You seriously overdid it with the Ren & Stimpy production music though. Half the time it didn't even fit. Nevertheless, the animation was fantastic as always and the jokes were good enough for a video game parody.
Much of the music I was deliberately using ironically, like during the labour/birth scenes. One might argue that the "love" music was inappropriate too, since it was for videogame characters who normally hate each other and have no business snogging like that.
It was okay...
You could have added a bit more keyframes, considering the fact that the drawings themselves were so simple. It got a few chuckles out of me, knowing the source material helped a bit.
Pretty dang good!
Liked this, humor was simple but still solid, drawings worked, and the animations was pretty good for a clock movie.
Thanks. I try to put love and attention into my animations, regardless of what they may be.
Very fine, spooky tale,
I enjoyed everything about this except the voice-over. The actress' voice sounded great and set an excellent mood, but she could have recorded multiple takes, as it sounded like she was reading parts of it for the first time. I hope that makes sense and that I'll be seeing more of your work.
Incidentally I don't think she did. Thanks for the review mind - I appreciate it.
I liked it.
This really helped me make my flash movie. Lots of good humor throughout, and the terrible animation (art was OK though) makes it a bit funnier.
I like to animation.
